With all the help & info on carburettors on this site my engine runs so well now. In fact its never ran this good! I just need to go for a few rides and check out what the plugs look like mixture wise.. perhaps tweek the sync. But wow, thank you everyone for the hints, diagrams, photos and experiences. I'm also very happy with Randy's components and service which made the rebuild & service a pleasure.
While cleaning & detailing the carb set (doing the boring stuff times four)  its great to watch video of rides on fjowners.
You get sidetracked i guess? reading other posts so,
I also upgraded the headlamp wiring and got less than my 0.5Volt loss goal at the globe socket which has made the 90/130W operate very well. I never have used the 'pass' hi beam switch (in 35years of riding) so I rewired it to operate as a push-to-talk button for the radio while I was messing with the spagetti.
The wife hasn't been very impressed with all the tinkering instead of riding.
