Man, im looking forward to next years east coast rally. And if im ever out west again, i will give you a buzz. I figure the extra fuel line gives me more reserve go juice... and next time i sync my carbs im just gonna put the tank up on sawhorses, which beats my 2 liter homemade fuel air bomb waiting to happen. :bomb: :bomb:

2 Liter??? Carb sync in 1/2  liter or less.. Get with the program... Some claim to sync with only fuel in the bowls...

I have never had a problem with half tank/poor feed. Maybe somebody's vent is not working. You can get CPC fuel fittings really cheap if you search online.....God I was pissed after over paying for years. They are there in any configuration for short money. Dual shut off, single shut off, 45 degree, 180 degree etc, etc, etc

Right, it wouldnt need to be a petcock, just an inline on/off valve i can route for accessibility. All sorts of room behind the carbs with those UNI's. So, adapter plate, fitting, valve, a filter, quick connects, im into over-engineered solutions
That's why that vacuum Pingel unit works. I've tried more ways than you can imagine.

I'm currently using a set of pump carbs in a gravity feed installation on my '85 with a CPC dual shutoff connector and haven't had any problems with fuel delivery.  Don't remember how low I let the tank get, but I recall running with less than a half tank with no problems several times.

I have those quick disconnects shown in stock as well, I just don't have them listed on my website yet.

Those quick disconnects seem real cool.
Any news on the vacuum operated Pingel petcock?

Randy, whats the center to center measurement for your adapter plate? I want to move to your set up eventually, but im going to have to come up with a lower budget solution in the meantime
