Ok so i have been neglecting my truck for a week now, since i got this bike now its time to start a mods thread, and stop on the bike and finish the truck. so i wanted to put a thread in the mods section to start back up on next week when its really cold and i have nothing better to do but work on the bike.
this is how i got her (hardly running)

after a bunch of carb work, and some vacuum lines and removing all the fairing and fenders that were left and bobbing the turnlights here she sits

front and rear turn lights


i started to make a rear sprocket cover tag holder out of jb weld and coat hangers... but ran out of jb weld to finish it. it doesnt look to pretty so ill just post a pic of it when its done. and ive got to talk my uncle out of that light. he dug it out now he wants to keep it... but it looked cool on the bike and seemed like it wouldnt be to hard to mount so ill see if i cant pry it from him set it and get a pic before its mounted proper. gotta figure something out about air filters, might do the scotch bright and panty hose thing, maybe not. might just get some cheese cloth and steel screen and make a poor mans k&n. lol shortened exhaust system and removal or the bigger kick stand is on the list after the tag holder and air filters. im just going to cut down the mufflers, stuff them with some steel wool and shorten the pipes to the muffler so it comes out real low. not sure im describing this too well so youll just have to wait until its done to get an idea.

i think i ment to put this thread in the project section... i dunno its all mods im going to do and have done, so should it be here or in the project section??? im confused

so got the head light, havent mounted it just kinda sat it there. gonna figure something out when i get some more jb weldand gonna see if i cant jb weld up a bracket for the gauges. man im going to have to send them an email...lol maybe some stickers for the gas tank!


and i no longer need the womans approval i got my daughters! me and ammie win! mama can just get over it!


well shes out of gas for the moment. so i cant ride her anymore. and i cant afford to spend anymore on her at the moment. got the truck running again so i have something to drive. gonna try to get some money back for some more jb weld so i can do the tag bracket, headlight bracket, gauges bracket and some zip ties and she will be "legal" well i dont think i need the gauges but they are nice. then ima work on getting something done about the air filters. if i can come with some cash for it ill buy some. but i got an idea. involves coat hangers, jb weld thin metal screen panty hose, scotch bright and some radiator hose. lol well see. maybe it should be called project JB WELD FIGHTER.
