G'day fellow FJ'ers from the beautiful and sunny Gold Coast where the surf is currently cranking.   :yahoo:   I've been a member of the UK FJ & FJR Owners Club for quite a few years checking it every few days but haven't participated much but I've sourced a bit of gear from them.  I have dropped in to this forum a few times to read some of your posts.  I started with FJ's in the late 1980s with an 1100 and over the years I've had three 1200's, my current one is a '91 3XW that has served me well for seven or eight years.  My last road trip was in mid September to our Nation's capitol Canberra and back for a large memorial ride (1,400 bikes), a distance of about 1,200 kilometres each way, covered in three days there and two days back.  The misses and I live about 200 metres from the beach in our little beach house and we love our surfing, sailing, fishing and water sports.  I ride motorbikes for my job.

Hey stainesy, Just got off tha beach at Noosa - a bit blown out Easterley, but great around Peregian. Good road trip that (and a great cause). Do ya reckon you could make it to Bellingen  in March? Shit it`s lookin good - Luv ta see ya there. Strongly suggest ya cover yourself with the fully refundable (Till 30 days before tha event) $50 deposit. Looks like we`re gunna book the place out if everyone rings em by this weekend, cause bookings gotta be in this month. (I`ll be there this Sunday night, finalising things).  :drinks: Doug
