What a magnificent sight!
It just needed one more bike, but then Flips wouldn't have got his gong.

Hey Buddy everybody had loads of fun and you were definitly missed, lots of piss taking and ales and special coffee was drunk, several people looked fairly rough around the edges Saturday and Sunday morning, won't mention any names Arnie or General  :sarcastic:

Loveley Quiet weekend
Launched FJ2 late thurday Arvo.
Stayed at ballina where the weather wasn`t real brilliant.
At Coffs the weather was more encouraging. I even found a great spot for a rally line up pic. So dropped into the pub for some supplies. and settled down for the night. However some people wouldn`t go ta bed. These girls behaved and only drank coffee. But as ya can see, the weather looked a little ominous. So with a quick change of Plans off we rode through the previously quiet town of Bellingen to pick up a Coffs Harbour FJ girl (Julie) that lived in a previously quiet culdesac. Hubby (Jason) apparently doesn`t like his neighbours. Then it was off to the Beach to practice reverse parking again. Then off thru Coffs and over the hinterland to the Golden Dog Pub for lunch where a horse dropped in. Then off to a Museum that had a lot ta Crowe about, then through a musical mountain Range where everyone was on song as we dropped into Beautiful Dorrigo with it`s own waterfall. Then back to our lodgings to meet Laurie Burns and his Son who allowed us to dribble over his FJ driven, Aussie race Car with Beers and much technical know-how exchanged.
Then more coffee followed by Dinner. We then fought over tickets in tha local chook raffle, including a complete FJ service kit (incl plugs, oil, filter) donated by Glenn Henry Motorcycles of Nowra 0244220833 (for when ya travelling to the Snowy) along with an accomodation prize, chooks and and and Harvey even won himself a Torque wrench & socket set. Then it was time to annouce the three major Rally Category winners,...it was a tense moment. But I`m pleased ta announce the Steel Butt award went to Bozo  :yahoo: on a count back and on account of him being married to a genuine Iron Woman - (tha committe did some deep interrogation). The Best presented FJ went to last years Iron Butt Titleholder Flips  :yahoo: Making him our first dual Titleholder. Then the Climax of the evening (other than David`s Chicken) ...The announcement we all had waited for...The Pinnacle of demonstrated commitment to FJ tribalism.. The Ashes award. I wet my pants and jumped for joy as tha committe annouced the duo winners ...Glen & Nicole ...Alias CHROMAX  :yahoo:  :shout:  :yahoo: ..So then we had some more coffee, went to bed and toodled off back home in tha morning. ....just another Quiet FJ Rally ...err ..from what I can remember. (Feel free ta fill in any bits in between)...oh yeah, so Marsh won`t kill me for posting so many pics, all profits from tha Chook raffle are going to the Forum site that made it possible for us to get together. (And again at the yet to be announced 1984 FJ, Anniversary venue in the SNOWY MOUNTAINS - thanks to a secret ballot organised by a teary eyed Bald mate)
