That said, I think it would still taste better on toast made down under.... Especially just before a rally ride....

Monkey, you have to keep up that thought - you CAN do it, you CAN get on that plane, you CAN buy 2 tickets!

See you here.....around the 9th March!

make it happen

Thanks Harvy, its 4 tickets if we can make it. Not really likely this year but I need to plan for it next year. Need to keep my bucket list as short as possible. Never know when you will kick the bucket....
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I will challenge you on the Vegemite,

it's time to man up, your challenge is accepted, see you at the rally   :good2:
Bugger me!!! I am beginning to think there are only three of you pretending to be a gaggle of FJ owners. I challenged "oldktmdude" and Springy accepts like it was him.... So now I need to figure out what Klavdy's AKA's are as well as Baldy's. I met them both but not at the same time so I am still suspicious of that simple fact.... The General, could be either one..... Maybe only two of you are making us think you have more than two FJ's over there..... And Marsh and Bean are in on it as they have reported being there.... Even more suspicious...  :ireful:

No mate, there "are" really lots of us. Including us well mannered ones, on the other side of the country from those ruffians.
Like Klavdy says, you can wish and hope and put the visit on your bucket list, but hell, you never know what will happen if you put it off too long.
Just bit the bullet, mortgage the kids, sell the house, hire out the truck and get here.
it will be the best damn holiday you have ever had.  :dance2:

Cheers

Mike

She took the quiz, mumbled something about not following sports and did not tell me her score. I will pass on the invite for her to send you a reply, till then you can check with Baldy. He has met her after the last WCR in June and can verify that she is a Free Range Aussie, not caged up.

:unknown: Okay Okay..... I did a bit of Googling and discovered:-
1. There is a Blue Power Ranger that was sent to another Planet.
2. He eventually Murdered his wife. ...

We have established that the Red Power WonderRanger  gained her powers in Aus. (now that makes sense!).  She`s not all that "free Range", according to her captor... and that she mumbles.
Still sounds sus to me!....How do we know that one of ours isn`t tied and gagged in a shed somewhere,  hope`n for a true blue mate ta rescue her from evil clutches!
..thought I`d do some more detective work and check out tha 28 names that have already paid their $50 at Bellingen Valley Lodge for 9th March. .. ta see if she was amongst `m.

That`s when I realised some more mates might be missing.  I asked tha receptionist did she see anyone pay extra? Any of `em look like a clown? Have a pointy  snoot?, Sticky fingers? Large Scars? Bare Hoofs? Red dusty face? Any ridin an Orange Bike? A Westerner with no Fairing? Did ya pass a tense bloke with a microphone?  Any with a shiney long handled Tommahawk? How about an invisible  medical type ? What about noisey and reflective in tha head?
But  more importantly was there a Wench that looked gorgeous had an Aussie accent and wrist scars?.....
Nope... none that fitted any of those profiles.     ...They definateley hadn`t booked yet.
So ... From what I could work out there`s a lot more Rif Raff that said they wouldn`t miss this event  for tha World,  nor sleet or snow.... that might`ve been tied up too! (lucky they gave us tha place exclusive for another week)

Anyhow...rang Baldy ta verify if there was anything sus when he visited the Red Power Ranger...but before I could get more investigative, he starts spit`n and shout`n..." Shit! shit! Shit, I haven`t paid me refundable fifty bucks!"...then he hangs up on me ta call The Bellingen Valley Lodge (02 66551599)-
..and I`d always thought he wouldn`t know what day it was!  (popcorn)

Doug,

How many have sworn that they're gonna be there?  Or, how many are still needing to send their deposit in?
Are you planning to "name and shame" them ?  Probably wouldn't work anyhow.

Mighta missed a few but thought I kinda gave some a nudge in my last post. I reckon around half dozen have forgotten ta pay, with another dozen biting at the bit. (Yep, we could very possibly end up with 40 odd) - A few working outback (but deposit paid) without seeing latest postings.....We`re gunna have fun. (I`m blown away by the response so far) Goal is to book out the total 26 rooms.  :good: -then start polish`n.
