Broken Headlight Adjuster :-(

Hi guys.

Not been on here for a while, had a load on recently. Anyhow, not that its getting darker earlier, and I generally pick my girlfriend up at half 9 at night, my headlight is very important.

I've notice with my girlfriend on the back, the headlight just shines for the sky. I have the adjuster at the side of the inner fairing but it doesn't work, its just spins. I have followed it down to the headlight assembly and tried to turn the shaft by hand as near to the headlight as possible, but still no change in the beam height.

Does anyone have any tips for me please?

Thank you,
Connor Nowell

Hi Conner,

Yes, here's a tip. In the interests of a continuing and healthy relationship with your girlfriend, NEVER EVER EVER mention to her that she makes your bike squat at the back.  :rofl2:

Sorry, that's all I got... :good2:

Happy riding!

The smart ass would say more pre-load on the rear shock.

The universal joint has most likely failed, a recent post showed a very clean way to fix it.
