All good, brakes are a good place to start at, , as for your noise, is it down low on the left, could be the starter chain?  Or  cam chain if its dead center
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

Welcome Mate  :hi: Ummmmmhhh........ Outback, Pro Hart territory.  He was right into Reds, Whites, Blues and Greys but hated pink I believe. The long legs of an FJ would love your roads. Do you use one or two of those Roo Shoos?

P.s nurse. A Roo shoo is a sonic animal repeller.An ultrasonic device,either electronic or wind driven  (like a mini pan flute ) to scare Kankaroo's off the road so you end your Kookaloo very suddenly.
