Headlight

Well i finally got tired of not be able to adjust my headlight so i took off the cowling and removed the headlight and the adjustment. i looked around and found a 1/4" swivel adapter so i cut off the male end and drilled a hole in it for the adjustor and then drilled a hole in the other end for the roll-pin. Put it back together and it works great.

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Why do I find this now. I threw away my headlight adjuster the other day. :ireful:

you threw an Fj part away  :shok:, , that's 100 lashes and transportation to van deamons land  :biggrin:
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

I have a second one that needs this fix. I had the option to fab up the broken part.

Electrical Heat Shrink wrap it with grease in it for lubrication. No chance of it falling apart then
