Had three days of riding on the weekend.  Just myself and a riding buddy on a 07 ZX10.  We took the first ferry off the island friday morning.  Sea to sky hwy past whistler, Duffy lake road, stayed in Merritt, B.C. first night.  South on 5A to #3  then East through some excellent twisties to midway.  Across the border into Washington State.  Second night in Okanagan.  Hwy 20 west (north cascades, awesome!).  Back into Canada and home Sunday night.  Great ride!  Avoided most of the traffic and no tickets!  will post some pics when I can.

You gotta post up some pictures of that!!!!!

I'm dying to get up to the Northwest, and do some riding, as well as a hike in to "Humes Ranch Cabin"
I have family ties to it, and it's on my to-do list to go see it..........

big r

Nice trip Derek. I was in Kelowna that weekend, trying out some new bikes. Tried a Triumph t-bird and 800xc, BMW R1200RT and a Ducati 1100Multistrada. I found that the Beemer had a tighter seating position than my FJ, the T-bird was a real cruiser and the XC 800 was really nice. The Duc. was awesome I cannot believe how much power they get out of a v-twin. Thet had a Diavel there but would'let anybody test ride it(don't blame them). Next time you come up to the interior leave me a note on here and if possible I will try to meet up with you. BigR

Really like some of the Triumphs.  Would like to try a street triple.  Test rode a Ducati Streetfighter S a couple years ago... Holy shit!  Amazing machine! And the exhaust sound.... amazing!

Will do Ray.  Usually Make 2 or 3 trips into the interior of B.C. each summer.  This was the last one this year.

Who is your friend (top photo). Is that FJmokey's RED RANGER suit? Was FJmonkey getting more comfortable in the pink one?  :unknown:

Thanks Steve.  I like my leather suit as well, little bit much on the Yamaha though.... and of course the full diaper look on the pants...

Kurt:  Thats my friend James.  He's a former FJ1100 owner, and now he's talking about getting another FJ possibly.

Derek that is great maybe he could buy FJmonkey's 86. Then FJmonkey could unveil his pink stripe. We all know he has one (been keeping it under wraps). Then he could give up the RED RANGER costume and real PINK POWER MONKEY could come out. The more he denies it the more we know it is true. Then he could fully give in to the pink side.  :dance2: :dance2: PINK MONKEY  :dance2: :dance2:     :sarcastic: :sarcastic:
