I'll just list out the questions... Correct answers please and bonus points for added information!

Which side (when facing the front of a fj) is the flow and which is return in oil lines?

What flow rate and pressure does the oil travel through said oil cooler feeds?

What is the minimum operating pressure of the fj's carbs? (Petrol feed)

At what rpm does a fj1200 redline?

Which plug on the main wiring loom feeds the fuel pump (bonus for pictures)

Which plug is for the kickstand switch?

What should a fj's compression test read?

What is normal operating temperature for a fj?

Anyone know what boost pressure the guy with the flame painted fj turbo is running? He claims 200hp.

Does the fj have a temperature guage on the syandard instruments?

Which  year?  The float needle/seat assemblies vary in size.  Minimum pressure I'm not seeing a spec for in the service manual, operational range should be like <4.5psi or something quite low.

9500.  They'll spin faster than that, but there's not much point unless you've helped the motor breathe rather significantly, and don't mind risking the bottom end.  Gear it long and make it work, doubly so if you're wanting a turbo setup.

The one with a blue/black and black wires sticking out of it and a pump relay on the other end.

Look for the blue/yellow and black wires.

As much as possible without detonation.  Book says 149psi is spec.  Worry more about the relative closeness of the numbers to each other.

Depends a bit on if he's dropped the compression or not.  Stock compression and really good fuel could do 200hp as low as 14psi on an optimistic dyno.  Lowered compression means more boost required, but it'd handle the pressure better as well.  Think the most I've heard is 415rwhp on a FJ streetbike (turbo).  Boost isn't directly linear with power, though... in the same way that bigger engines aren't always more powerful than small ones.  Or hell, that two similarly sized engines can have quite different output.

No.  Air cooled machines so rarely do.  People add oil temperature gauges sometimes.

According to yamaha, they're called 1UY-82370-20-00 for the plug ends and 3CV-82320-00-00 for the wire bits, which include a coil attached to them.  Dunno who the original source was, NGK makes nice caps.

Now go buy/beg/borrow/steal/download a service manual.  Seriously worth it.

But on a serious note here, could you place your hand on the outside edge of the cooling fins on the side of. Cylinder 1 and 4? And keep it there?
My question because where i have only forward controls, riders legs touch the engine!
I will definatly be aquiring a service manual!
Do you know any on the oil pressure and rate?
I need to take an oil feed for my turbo and those two big steel oil cooler pipes look much more attractive to re-route instead of tapping the block somewhere and hoping for high pressure oil wells!
I think I will fit a oil pressure and temp gauge when I get round to doing oil lines!

Engines get hot.  Boosted ones get more hot.  Add a bit of a shield or something to rest against, or lower the pegs some.

I don't know the specifics as far as pressure, but the pump that feeds the cooler just circulates oil from the sump, to the cooler and back to the sump.  Probably high flow and low pressure.

I don't know if you are planing to add a larger oil cooler but I would like Randy's at RPM. To find the operating temp use a laser gauge. Hope this helps.

Haha lowering the pegs is a no go, already a bit close to the floor
Is there a high pressure location to tap the block for oil?
I plan on using the same oil cooler and anoyher copper one for the turbo, I also have a water cooled system for the turbo.
