I wrote and posted this just now on the Yahoo Forum...I thought I'd post it here too in case any of you are not monitoring the Yahoo board any longer...

I have never been a forum person – and have NEVER personally
belonged to a forum using the new format. I too, thought I
preferred the Yahoo way of things (I received individual e-mails
which were then filtered into a specific folder in my inbox – neat
and tidy). However after spending a few days on the new forum, I
can unequivocally say that I now prefer the new forum format MUCH
MORE than Yahoo! There are MANY ways to read and view the new
posts, and once you figure out what works best for you – it is a
very enjoyable experience. Of course, you have to join before you
see ANY of those options – I guess that is why I never really
understood how user friendly they can be...I'd never joined any.

Yes, I always liked the simple email in the box too, still do.  Very eifficient.  Maybe I haven't figured out the best viewing method here yet.  I love the photos;  love the (mostly) unrestrained topics.  Great job!

Now living in 3 FJ worlds. but the party is definitely here.

Dean,

I normally swing by and make use of the "show unread posts since last visit" tag up by the Avatar. That way I can easily see whats going on and keep up to date on everything I am interested in. You can also quickly filter out what you are not interested in.
The PM function is also a great alternative to the classic "hit me off list". In fact for the security concious it works even better. No more throwing out your email for all the world to spam....

Now if I can just get the files section finished... I have all the data, but my continuing efforts to keep Northern Kentuckys fine health professionals employed had been eating up quite a bit of my time.
