This is why you should get out of the left lane as soon as possible. Note: The guy recording this is going 93 MPH. :shok:

I like the driver's response... "Ahhhh, AHHHH!"

That's why I call it the "hammer-lane"!
Even in the US, people should be willing to haul-ass in the left lane, or stay the hell out of it!

I still can't seem to integrate YouTube videos into my posts. Anyone know why? I'm using the URL links (before and after). :scratch_one-s_head:

I can personally vouch for this feeling.

Got my first FJ (1990 3CV model) while I was stationed in Germany. One evening, I had it out on one of the autobahns, going as fast as I could go. (KooKaLoo!)  Long straightaway through a valley, where I could see nothing but open road for several kilometers ahead of me. I became aware of flashing headlights coming up on me, but still a ways behind. By the time I moved over, a Mercedes _STATION WAGON_ blew past me like I was standing still.

I distinctly remember muttering to myself "It isn't fair, it just isn't fair!".

Blown away by the FAMILY TRUCKSTER. Grrrrr....

Hmmm...

I usually open the URL to the video in a separate browser tab, then <right-click> "copy" the full address line to the video. Then I switch to the tab where I'm editing my post, click the "Insert Hyperlink" button, and <right click> "paste" the aforementioned address between the URL tags.

I'll demonstrate here:

Fastest high-speed overtake you have ever seen!

Your youngest child can probably show you. <grin>

You can also click the "share button" on the video page, and check the box for "long link".  Copy and paste that link here..

You're using the shortened link, which is not compatible with the message board software since it's a redirected link..

Yea, dumbasses can be found anywhere , U.S., Europe, Asia.  I especially like the ones with tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirts, no helmet or gloves on blacktop. Learning is a lot quicker there.
I always thought the Autobahn was 3 lanes, 2 for normal driving and the inside one for the speed.  I never considered only 2 lanes. Thought the Germans were smarter than that. They must have a lot of crashes with only 2 lanes.

"The autobahn" is not just one road, in fact, it is a series of roads throughout the country.  Some of these are three lanes, but a lot of it is two lane.

I see idiots every summer wearing T-shirt (or tank top), shorts flip-flops, no gloves, BUT wearing a helmet......  I always wonder WHY??
If I got the kind of road rash they will, I'd rather just be dead......

Quite simple really, we as humans (not all of us) never ever think it will happen to me... I used to think like that, now I wear ATGATT... Even if I get teased that it will fade to Pink and change my Power Ranger Status. What ever the color, wear good gear and prevent skin graphs.... I really don't care about color, I chose brighter in hopes that the cagers see me better than bland or the basic black. It boils down to us watching, the color I ware makes no difference if the cagers are texting...

Yeah, I know..... It was rhetorical.

Had a couple pull up next to me on a scooter, both dressed like that. I looked over and asked them: "Why bother with the helmets??"
They gave me a confused look and then the light changed....   :dash2:
