Throttle or cable replacement ?

Well after getting my Manual for my 85 FJ1100 and fixing my coil problem found a few things the PO kind of over looked . When the tank was being put back on i found that the (#4) cable which is the pull on the carb is the same as the push is . But looking over the manual it seems to be shorter and the one on it is binding which can lead to bad thing . I 've talked to a few places about picking a new one up Speed @ sport , NW vintage , and my local go to shop but all have said they can order it but dont know when it will be in . I've also looked here in the search but have not found anything . Anyone know if (A) where i might find one (B) Is there one off a diff year FJ that works (C) Is there a full replacement that works well ?  :unknown: I just want to enjoy my new fun cycle !

Not true. The cables on my '84 are different than the cables on my '92.

Randy is not a cool dude.  He's a @!#$%@%$ who makes me drool and subsequently spend a damned fortune!  I go shopping for a gasket, I end up buying an oil filter conversion, a couple of spare exhaust gaskets, an extra clutch gasket because mine's starting to weep... stupid $30 part cost me $200!     :hi:

LOL trust me i could of picked up a few more things ( which im planning ) but first need to get the bike up and running right !! Have a wish list already to go  :good:
