Just came home with this thing today, figured I better find a forum to learn what's what with them! Really enjoying the bike in my few hours of ownership so far, already hate the original seat and original grips  Plan to leave her mostly stock, it has LED turn signals already, I was given the originals, front fender needs to have a tiny little crack in the mounting tab fixed, and I'm not sure whether or not it came with a chin spoiler stock, but I want one (looking at airtech streamlining for a new one). Perhaps some suspension upgrades and luggage, other than that, I love this thing!

Welcome to the group!  She looks nice and shiney!

enjoy your new ride and be careful of trying to leave the bike "mostly stock"   As good as you think the bike is now it can be made even better without affecting the looks of it.

I get the Kookaloo!

Let the FJ have the reigns on some open road, holy shmokes does she have the get up and go! Enough for me! I actually had a different word in my head, GadZooks! I'm going to have to run this on the 1/4 mile once, wonder if it's faster than my Camaro....

Only if your Camaro runs sub 12's  :good2: And depending on your FJ's level of kookaloo and moditus, maybe sub 11's.

Mine did a 12.11, standard apart from pods and 4-1 exhaust and I weigh in at a manly 117kg... And I have the reaction time of a hibernating polar bear.  :good2:

The Camaro has gone 12.0 breaking up all the way down the track (too much boost not enough fuel, lol), and has mid 11's in it if I ever tune the thing right. So it sounds like maybe, maybe not! Not bad for a turbo V6 camaro

OK I'll bite, How could you possibly tell that is a Canadian FJ from the picture?

Or are you just assuming because it has them gay looking blinkers?

Sorry Musicman

You're right, the seats are junk, replace it immediately.
You can thank me later.

McKilla Guerilla

Nice tires on your FJ Musicman. I just put those same Bridgestones on my 85 about 5k mi ago. I love them. I had Pirelli's before, hated them.

I'm not gonna lie. I think the red & white is hideous but in a beautiful way. Some dope before me painted my bike in a gross dark blue pearl, no graphics. As ugly as I think the ambulance is. I wish my paint job was stock.

Welcome aboard & Kookaloo!!!!
