Good timing. That video cooled me out after just reading on another thread one of those "if it wasn't for the USA you'd all be speaking German" comebacks (because they got teased for losing international golf for f*kcs sakes.)

Hey Chuckster...good to hear from you....I almost sent this thread over the wall.....lol...I was debating long and hard as to inviting the gang over for Turkey....goble goble........but the coin turned up tails.......so it was a female event this year......hehehhe.......but I am itching to see everyone again soon.......maybe I should throw a halloween bash and make everyone dress up as their favorite American...and then post the event to help cheer up our gracious neighbors to the south.

  Most impressed I am ... as a Northumbrian (town of Blyth, N E coast)!!!! As a 10 year old, I found one year of German much easier to learn, compared to the 5 wasted years on (Parisian) French that was taught in high school...  

The French here in Canada is a centuries old bastardised form of a long time forgotten French...which is useless outside of Canada

Wow...Trav..............for an electrician , you have  a pretty good swing there....("when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail").. ....ever thought of becoming a carpenter?  I must admit though you did capture the spirit of the city back there in 1980.......luckily I wasn't at that concert......... my Alice Cooper days ended with Billion Dollar Babies.........after that ....I hit my teens and moved on to Genesis and Jethro Tull........I think I was 10 or 11.....but koodos.....I'm glad someone still remembers him.......

I will have to get out next spring and meet up with you guys. Mine is a1986 and had it since 1990. I just done a pile of work to it this summer but I have a few little things to re do this winter. Its still all stock though. I did the Blue Ridge and Deals Gap a while back on it. I was going to sell it some time ago but just couldnt bring myself to do it.
Hope to see you all in the spring.

Yes thats true.....but there is one major difference........ the Leaf fan has enough life boats............and other ships to jump on........  you know why there are so many leaf fans? ..........
because of the Maple Leaf ...and no matter what city....or what team...or what player you cheer for....there will always be a Maple Leaf prepared to hit that ice 
there's lots of ice to go around........
