Going to take it apart and powder coat the frame. This winter. I'm going to try and put a layer of black and red carbon Kevlar fabric over the chin fairing.
I was wondering if I should polish the swingarm and the other aluminium parts or just clean and leave them. Definitely going to polish the stainless exhaust. What does every one think polish or not on the aluminum?

I like the looks of polished aluminum on other people's bikes (even those red & white ones)

Check out Pat's bike, on a cloudy day, don't want to get blinded by his obsessive polishing habit...

I polished an 89 swing arm for my 91. (91+ were steel).
A few other pieces fell onto the buffing wheel , too.
