First ride on the FJ...

Well I finally got the old behemoth put together... Amazingly with all the tune ups and very little idle/air mix adjusting she purred like a little kitten... I swear this motorcycle's a woman.  (I won't call her a lady until I get to know her better, I've made that mistake before..)

So I took her for a spill, I mean a spin, and sticky clutch and all, but dear lord, here's the official report:

BAD NEWS is that when I clicked the throttle from 40mph I snapped to 90mph in about a second, and I wet myself all down my pant leg.

GOOD NEWS is that by the time I slowed down, my pants were dry  ..

Seriously this FJ1100 is a machine to be reckoned with.  It scares me.
