Hello FJers

I'm doing a road trip through California in September sadly it wont be on a bike, but thats another story.
I'll have to look up a few FJers while I'm there! I see that RPM is located in Stockton and will drop in and say gidday to Randy and pick up some FJ stuff to bring home with me. I'll post something a few weeks before I leave re meeting up.

Anyway...I'll be in West LA for a few days and thought I'd look for a new riding jacket, daks and helmet. Can anyone recommend a good motorcycle  retail or wholesale outlet.....

Thanks and regards

Mark

I've ordered plenty from www.motorcycle-superstore.com.  They have an outlet in Medford Oregon which would be North of California, not sure how much of a road trip you're willing to make though.  I'm sure others who live near would have something better to scope out...

Maybe "Parts 411", they are mostly internet but have some stores. Really good grand Openings, search for it.

http://www.beachmoto.com/ is a fantastic shop in LA.  It's primarily a Rev'it shop, but the site says the shop also had gear from Dainese, Sidi, Shoei, Schuberth, Spidi, Klim, TCX and Nexx.

I've ordered a few things from Dennis since he opened back in '08.  He is an awesome person and totally backs the stuff he sells.  I would get more from him, but I'm not the biggest fan of Rev'it, and I have Revzilla in my backyard (Philadelphia) so I tend to get my stuff from them.
There are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating: people who know absolutely everything, and people who know absolutely nothing.

Cycle gear is awesome. I ordered a pair of leather pants from them, on sale for $ 99 and they were here in 4 days, that's sending them from California to the interior of British Columbia. I was a bit nervous  about ordering online, but the fit was really good and they seem to be well made. I also bought some boots and gloves and I am impressed with the quality and fit. Big R
