Maybe I missed it... looked all'round...
But is there a complete bolt list for the FJ's?
Gotta replace them.  Gunna order from boltdepot.com.

Not that I am aware of.... Why don't you put one together for us?  I'll save it in the Files section for ease of future reference.

Think of it like a homework assignment for the newbie... :hi:
1) Free Owners Manual download: https://tinyurl.com/fmsz7hk9
2) Don't store your FJ with E10 fuel https://tinyurl.com/3cjrfct5
3) Replace your old stock rubber brake lines.
4) Important items for the '84-87 FJ's:

I picked up a Stainless Steel bolt kit for my FJ12 a few years ago on sleaze-bay for ~$45.  Think they are still there.  Might be worth looking into, even for just the list!  I don't have mine anymore, but it covered most of the bases.

Did a quick search on eBay and they're still there, with a 169 piece kit, still $45.
And no, I don't work for them, or anything similar.  Just seemed easier than accumulating the list if it's already been done.
Actually, a guy can live by motorcycling alone.

Although it might require multiple bikes. :D

Seems like something Randy could/would/should stock at RPM.

This is a list of what I got from someone on Flea-bay for $45. All stainless steel.
I Don't work for them either, but they did a nice job separating them & listing them.

Sorry about the bad photos but best I could do. Hope it helps.

G'day Ken, I used a kit supplied by this ebay seller. The kit came with great instructions and the bolts were exact replacements for originals except in s/s and allen heads.      Pete.                               http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-FJ1200-Stainless-Steel-Screw-Kit-Bolt-Kit-/380538456651?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5899dc0a4b#ht_5619wt_1253

Will soon start putting the bike together and will replace bolt and grommets etc as i go.
I came across this on eBay:
http://www.eBay.com/itm/560pcs-STAINLESS-ALLEN-BOLT-KIT-FJ-1200-1986-1997-/150534676159?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D4586310247169045667%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D150534676159%26

Is it worth a try? Thoughts anyone?

Cheers

A careful read of this ad suggests it's just a bag of mixed nuts and bolts .
The kit Oldktmdude mentions several posts back is an FJ specific kit and I would think a pretty good deal and it comes with an endorsement.

Noel, i actually ended up ordering the FJ specific kit. Figured out that most of bolts and nuts in the 560 kit would not be used and only take up space. With the specific kit i would get the bolts i need.

I also used the kit that Oldktmdude used.  It's a very nice kit, nicely packaged, and good instructions.    :good:
