Hi guys, I did search earlier, but I am in a rush so I couldnt find my old posts relating to this problem

This morning at 4am my carb started leaking petrol for no reason. I assume the float bowl was stuck open again or the orings and stuff are just past their wear date. Its the same carb that always leaks, right most one.

I rode the bike and the leak seemed to stop, but i am worried it starts again later, normally to fix i just take the carbs and tap on them and that sorts them out.

Naturally I have gotten tired of this.
What I cant remember is which kit of Randy's I am supposed to use to fix the problem.
Is it the carb rebuild kit

If so would I get away with just fixing the one carb or would I have to fork out to fix em all?

Or do I just need this kit

My mind says yes to the first option but my wallet says yes to the second option :wacko1:

Thanks for the help guys

Jesse, your leak is probably from the orings.  The $22 kit has all the orings you'll need.  Take my advice, if you do one, do all.

Jesse,

The first option is for rebuilt the carbs, the second is for resealing them.

The minimum would be the screw & o-ring kit, but if you are going to rebuild then really are going to need both options.

don't you just love carby work , , any luck mate?? , not sure if you ever sent that clutch lever back, but did you still want the proper one , think it was the thicker one where it pivots you needed .?
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

FJTillDeath

Yeah it was the thicker one

I sent it back, it came back to me, so I resent it a month and a half ago. I truly despise our postal service. I have a tracking number, I will dig it up and check what it bears

This will be my first time doing major carb work, so I am keen to learn a lot. First have to get dough in order
