Woody, all of the oil filter o-rings are the same for the FJ.

I did not look at the price from Woody's or any other FJ supplier, but I am pretty sure you will find it cheaper here.

Cheers, Woody.  I can confirm the existance of filter housing O-rings that are too big.  Bought some off brand filters (Hi Flo or something like that) which included the filter housing bolt o-ring and the housing o-ring - the one for the housing was too big.  Fram also includes both o-rings, and they are the proper size.  I just used my last "old-style" Fram filter and will be purchasing a spin on adapter from Randy before the next oil change.

Simplicity of character is the natural result of profound thought.

Some other bikes, Kawasaki I think, use the same filter cartridge and that must be the O-ring that's supplied with some of the aftermarket filters.  At least you're not paying extra for the wrong O-ring.

You received an o-ring from me, RPM?

The o-ring I sell fits the O.E. canister and the RPM oil filter conversion kit.

It might be time for a picture of your housing.
