Front fork damage

Well worth the (relatively low) cost of admission, IMO.         :good:

Every (as in all) FJ'er's  who has made the switch to the YZF600 front end, has *nothing but good things to say* about the results.
A dramatic improvement.

With the YZF front end, wheels, and shorter dog bones, it handles a lot more like a YZF600 than it does a stock FJ, IMO.

I did the Penske with adjustable length instead of dogbones.  I've never ridden a YZF600, but I have ridden my Dad's '90 back to back with my '89, and there's a night & day difference.  Real brakes, maneuverability, suspension/ride quality are all superior compared to original.  I probably could have spent less to get comparable handling, but where else do you go to get the torque of a FJ?
