Got the engine out of Larry's CBX last night, head stud threads stripped out in the case... and many other questionable issues.

I only wish it was so easy to get the engine out of the FJ!

Amen, the sound is like nothing else!  Another aural gem was the Britten @ Laguna Seca.  Sounded like a high RPM small block Chevy, with some SERIOUS grunt.. Or the Honda NR500 ...like 2 stroke w/o the ringy-dingy;  22,000 rpm exiting turn 1 @ Laguna.

Wow!!  The Candy Red paint on that engine and frame, etc. is freaking AWESOME!  Please remember to post a couple of pics of it when you have it all back together.

Did the CBX originate the idea of cooking the riders shins?  Inquiring minds ...
