+1. As the author of the statement "This guy has got to go. The single most offensive individual I have experienced on the web" I want to say how hopeful I am of Klavady's full recovery. I made that statement a few years ago however along the way I have not only learned to enjoy his posts but also to respect and thoroughly enjoy his attitude and approach to life. Get well soon, the world needs ya!!!!!!!!

Klavdy is so damn ornery there's no way he couldn't pull through from this.

I'm not a religious person, but what or whom is waiting for us in whatever afterlife is shaking in their boots right now at the thought of K-man coming when he isn't good and ready.  He'd be so damn pissed off, they would send him back just so they wouldn't have to deal with him.

Keeping my fingers crossed and looking forward to more rallies and miles of asphalt with ya K-man!

This from Jill this morning Aus time:

He is off the ventilator, awake and had been asking for me.  He was still quite a bit 'fuzzy' when I walked in but improved somewhat during the course of my visit.  
No recollection of what he has been through at this point, other than he is still in a lot of pain, I did explain to him, but his memory should return once the drugs are out of his system.  The physiotherapists came to see him and got him out of bed and sitting in a chair.  He did have an oxygen mask on when I arrived but that was replaced by the 'prongs'.  He still had a tube through his nose which was feeding him, but think that will be gone by tomorrow (Wednesday).  Not sure how long he will stay in ICU, depends on how he improves so could be out and into the surgical ward tomorrow or  next day, just have to wait and see. I didn't ask the Dr., because I don't think he could have told me exactly.  

He was pestering me to get him a drink of water, but all he got were chips of ice from the nurse who had to be quite stern with him.  
The ICU doctor told him thisarvo he could have a 'small' can of lemonade, he thought it was the best drink he had ever had!!!!!   after a while was happy to get back into his bed.  Just as I was leaving he said he felt sick – probably the lemonade, poor thing, if he threw up, it would have hurt like hell.

I hope to speak with Jill again some time this evening and will let you know what's happening.
Gotta say all the prayers and good vibe thoughts are working guys........keep up the good work!

I still keep the kangaroo scrotum that he sent me when I published 1st time my FJ web: it is one of the best presents that I´ve had in my life because of the surprise and the feelings and support that supposed to me receiving a present just from the other side of the world!

Its good to hear he's improving ,he's got a ways to go,I'm sure the thought of getting out of the hospital will inspire him to do what ever the doctors say.
When I was in the hospital awhile ago the support I got from this group of people sure made feel good that I'm part of this special group.So keep the support up  for our good friend.
