Rumours of my demise

Have been greatly exaggerated.
I'm alive and well here in tropical Papua New Guinea, on Simberi Island.
I intend to stay that way by taking a few simple precautions.



Here's my Boys,a scurvy looking mob of cut-throats, yet loyal & true,


Like all Pirates, Parrots are de rigueur,



I sleep well at night knowing that Lik Lik Tony, the wee Highlander,sleeps in my compound,


Don't let size fool you ,my little mate has at least seven notches on his bushknife, a man not to be trifled with.

Every one likes a room with a view, I wake in the morning to be greeted by this


Hardly feel like jumping on one of the planes to fly back to Australia,





As the people here are genuinely friendly once you get to know them,most still living a simple village life,



Started off not too bad a day for this little piggy, rooting for coconuts,having a bit of an oink, doing piggy things,




Ended badly though, it was off with his head and into the Mu-Mu,




the kids are a hoot,









But soon it's back to Aus for R&R where a new Penske shock and a Remus Powercone await fitting then it's off to
whatever is left of the Snowy Mntns after the terrible bushfires of late,

dude i hope you have your surfboard there.... i cant imagine being able to walk right outside and catch a nice wave like that.....every morning...... you do surf there dont cha?
