Lodging: Paulfj03, Bob, & myself have reserved the 35' coachman for the weekend.  I'm not willing to share a bed but if someone wants to talk Bob or Paul into snuggling up and sharing a bed for some FJ love'n then we might be able to fit one more...

Lodging.....I have reserved one of the 2 bedroom condos on the camp site(1 minute walk...I am told)......if anyone wants the other room, please let me know asap....it will be $110.00 for the 2 nights......first come first served
Candman

Great news Kev. The condos aren't too far, after you get settled in come out to the group site (all the way to the end of the camp site) and have a beer or two with everyone.

BTW, Most of us will be staying 3 nights

Never regret your choices in life ! There is no way to go back to do it again and compare. Make the most and do your best with every decision you make

Most of us arrive Friday afternoon-evening, ride Saturday and Sunday and check out Monday morning.
It may make for a long day, riding all day Sunday and then riding home that night.
You're welcome to ride just one day if you wish too.

It's too bad we couldn't do a 4 or 5 day rally....doesn't seem like alot of time to get to know everybody.....feels like a quickie....lol......but quickies are ok from time to time.....Two summers ago I did a good trek from Toronto....in to Lake Placid....across Vermont....New Hampshire and into Maine(Bar Harbour). Then I went all the way up and around New Brunswick into Halifax. After that it was on to the Cabot Trail......eventually plowing my way back through Northern New Brunswick and through Quebec.....it was a gas speaking French again...they love when Angliphones....speak French.....especially the fairer sex....wink wink.....you should see the reactions I get when I speak Manderin...lol...anyway... I may alter my trip and stay the Sunday.....you make good sense.....might have to be a game day decision...

Bob N has made a habit of coming for just one day. Which means you can stay one day and ride home with him, or stay 2 days and take his bunk in the camper with Paul and Dan

Last year a few of us showed up early Friday and went for an awesome ride. Which makes the rally 3 days and 3 nights, and all the crazy shit happens on the 3rd night.

This rally is on my calendar for an other year. I will most likely leave after work on Thursday afternoon. That will get me to the campground at 7 ish.
I'll probably leave Monday morning and do a half day at work, or just take the long way home and skip work for an other day (more likely). I'll pack the propane stove and some pans again for some steak and eggs for breakfast. Looks like we will have good size group this year.

Arriving early this year. I don't have the group site reserved for Thurs., I assume you know that.

Sounds like you might be up for another Friday ride this year?

I'll see if they will let me set up at the group site and pay for a nights stay at a regular site. If it's an issue I will just set up twice, no big deal.
I will certainly be up for a Friday cruse. Hopefully this time we won't get soaked.

I'm hoping to make it again this year. I was hoping to go to the East coast spring rally in Boone and the Maine one but I don't know if I'll be able to do both. Winter was really hard without snow this year in the powersports business. So I had to use some vacation time and our hours were shortened along with pay so that kind of hurt some of my summer time plans. But business is booming now so maybe I can make some up with over time if it is offered. We will see. It shouldn't be a problem for me to make it to Maine. I bought a coleman frying pan and plan to pack more stuff so we can eat at the campground more. Thanks to Glen for inspiring me to get some more camping gear to carry on my bike to be more self-sufficient. Look forward to meeting the new guys.

It will be good to see you again Eric. It looks like it may be a good size crew this year. After drinking Crown Royal on an empty belly the first year
(and basically crawling to my tent) it was clear that we needed some food at camp. Last year worked pretty well with the burgers at night and steak and eggs in the morning.

NYFJR13

Yes that was awesome. My kind of FJ rally. That is great we are getting more people to come this year. That's what happened with the Boone rally. Each year it seemed to draw more and more people. I'll try not to eat Doug's breakfast this year. LOL

Just a reminder to the true north ..............MAKE SURE YOUR PASSPORTS ARE UP TO DATE........  :drinks:

I hope to do the burgers again this year. May need a head count as the rally gets closer.

That should work good, so long as you don't let the Canadians touch it.
