Leon, the DDM kits come with a relay box that powers the ballasts & switches the high & low beam.  There are connections for 2 lights on the relay box, so you'd have to be able to duplicate the functions to split up the dual kit over 2 bikes.  Otherwise, you're fine to do that & save a few $$$.

Thanks Ed.
So I couldn't get two different bikes converted, but by getting the one for the cars, I'd have a spare bulb and ballast.
Still doesn't seem like a bad deal, really, in the event that a guy might suffer some sort of parts failure down the road.

Thanks for the reply.

Leon, you can still split the kit onto 2 bikes, but ...
One bike could use the DDM (or other mfg) relay kit.  The 2nd would require you to do the wiring.  You need a relay & fuse to feed the ballast from the battery.  The relay coil would need to be powered off the dash lamp circuit or similar.  You then need to use the original headlight bulb socket to feed the shutter that switches the hi/lo function on the new HID bulb.  Nothing real complicated, but YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS.

Or just buy 2 motorcycle kits :empathy3:
