I've acquired most of the parts I need for the rear GSXR rear wheel conversion on my 88, what I don't have is on the way courtesty of flea-bay. I ended up with a 92 5.5" rim, and now I want a wider rim for the front too. What is required for the FZR front wheel swap? I have blue spots, but can I use the same rotors, or do I need the FZR's rotors.
Thanks
Kevin

Nope, nothing is needed if you use a '87 or '88 FZR front rim. It's plug and play. Use your stock FJ rotors, axle, spacers, speedo drive, fender, etc.

The '89 and later FZR rims used a 17mm front axle which is larger than the oem FJ 15mm axle.
Nobody has yet been able to find wheel bearings which allow the '89 rim to use the FJ 15mm axle.

3) Replace your old stock rubber brake lines.
