I just found a complete 94 FZR1000 front end complete. Told the guy I wanted from the Hand Grips to the tire. Owner said it is in A1 shape. He just dropped a valve and destroyed the engine. Also just won the auction for a GSXR 17" rear wheel. Looks like the 84 is in for some changes this winter.

Yeppers, they sure do and they work bitchen.
The only draw back is that the FZR1000 USD forks do not have external compression or rebound adjustment. No biggie IMO
However with a Race Tech Gold valves you can set the shim stacks where you need them, and like the Ronco oven, you set it and forget it.

Mike, you are gonna have to change those oem fork springs. The FZR1000 springs are .78kg/mm and are too light for our heavy bikes.
I find the 1.0kg straight rate springs are just a tad too heavy on my forks (200lb rider) Next time I have 'em apart, I'll go with some .95 or .90 springs.
You even have a mechanical speedo drive for your speedometer....Kudos Mike!

I got the rear wheel for $110 US. Still need caliper and brackets.

Pat, I thought that was what you had for your front end. Was looking at the calipers and saw the 6 piston setup. Was there much of a problem with the triple tree and bearings? Paid under $500 with shipping. What a find!  :yahoo:

I was looking at how similar the engines are and started wondering if the 6 speed trans would fit FJ cases. Has anyone looked into this one? Mod wheels are turning in my head. Thinking it may be worth the $125 to find out on the gear set.

The only drawback I see to these forks is riding with Pat....yours will undoubtedly look like shit in comparison  :mocking:  His are super shiny!

Sounds like a great find!  It'll be like a new machine when you're done with the mods.
