On Saturday I visited the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show at Stafford. This is the UK's biggest classic bike show with almost 1,000 bikes on show and lots of bikes & parts for sale. The emphasis is Japanese bikes of the 60s/70s/80s.

The quality of the show bikes amazing

'73 RD350 in as-new condition. This takes me back. I rode one in the '70s. Price was £3,650 ($5,770) ouch!

Wayne Rainey was the guest of honour and spoke at length about his career.

Stuart,
Loved the write-up and photos. Still remember the green metallic RD 400 my dad rode. He talked my best friends dad into buying one as well, to get a better price, that one was red. Would love to find one of those for a project.......
