New to the board From TN

Well I will start by introducing myself, I'm Caleb from Chattanooga,TN. I am a Ford technician and wrench on bikes in my spare time. The daily is a 2001 ZRX 1200 and the project is a 86 1200 dragbike. I have had my FJ dragbike about five years now and have yet to get her down the track    It has always been something keeping me from getting her back together but it's time to turn some wrenches again

Well here is the mod list as of now

1425cc with Falicon crank, Carillo rods, MTC pistons
Cylinder head worked by Byron Hines
Slider Clutch, billet basket, ect.
38mm Lectrons
Dyna 4000 ignition,shift mider, shift counter, ect.
Star Racing Prostock header and megaphone

Sounds like you have the makings of a, what do you figure, -9 second bike?  What are you hoping for?

Looks neato.  Did Hines give you any crap about the cylinder head?  I know when he was racing an FJ, he ended up needing something like three sparkplugs per cylinder to get the timing where he wanted it!  Should be a right quick machine, guessing an 8.90 index sorta thing if you get the clutch figured out!
