flasher relay might be bad?

I don't get why you guys think I'm that dumb here to not know how to wire something up,

So I don't understand why yea guys still think I'm so dumb here, yea I may not know everything, that's why were here right?

Irish.... you joined in March of this year and you are at nearly 300 posts....  Sr. Member ......  No contribution in 300 posts all questions.

I have been here twice as long and have only 100 or so posts....  I heavily modded my FJ within those 100 posts.

So that is a pretty strong indicator dude..... 

Possibly because you reject good advice EVERY F'ING TIME it is offered to you...     

and ive done everything you guys have told me to and the blinkers still don't flash

The problems you are having are directly related to the mix-matched bike you are "building".  The problems are unique and the answers are best found in your own garage.  A guy that could solve your problem gives you good advice and it doesn't work because you have done things he is unaware of.  You can't expect someone a thousand miles away to have an answer for you when you are creating unknown unique circumstances. ("its an 87 in a 91 with 89-90 harness and blah blah blah").  If you are going to build a Frankenstein you should expect that you will have to figure it out right there in your garage.  I did.

Get a meter and trace the power- figure out what you changed to stop it from working because it seems obvious to me that is the problem- you changed stuff.  50 comments later you reveal some new info that matters.... that is frustrating and these threads are exhausting....  imagine how much reading is required before a guy can give you decent advice only to get a one liner response "no I tried that", "you guys said...."

im just going to change the flasher relay like i should have done from the beginning, cause if I put the original handle bar switch back on with the original turn signals, it still dont work. to me it sounds like that flasher relay cause the fuses and everything are fine.


and its an entire 87 bike just on a 91 frame. no difference in components

Like I said before, all I was wondering was if there was a way to test the relay its self, cause the book didn't show anything.
