Guys,
is your idle simply on/off or do you have to adjust it incrementaly as it warms up?
i have to make small adjustments as it warms up and is seems to be a pain in the azz.
other than that, it runs great.

thanks,
larry

If you mean the choke, it is on 3 clicks to start, drop to two in about 5 sec when the idle speed rises, then ride off and close fully once at 5mph or so.  I have about 1 mile to my first stop sign and am idling at about 1000 rpm by then without choke.  Within a couple more minutes it is idling at 1100 and stable there.

Well you could play with the idle mixture skrew set it where desired when the bike is hot. Otherwise your carbs might need a cleaning.

My bike used to take ages to idle without me feeding it gas, then got the carbs cleaned and synced and idles within a minute without the choke

sorry, i meant the choke.

at the beginning of the summer, i took the carbs apart and cleaned them really well.
it ran the best it ever has, but this problem crept in there.  maybe they just need to be synched,
i was too lazy to do it then and i just never got around to doing it.
