I found an add for FJ1200 that's being parted out.
I'm trying to figure if I can use the disk/callipers to upgrade mine. Can anybody see from the picture if the disks/callipers are any good?

Those pix look like an 89 with a 86 fairing

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Agreed, it is a 3CV with the earlier fairing hanging on it.   If you have an 84-87 FJ, you could use the entire front end to upgrade to a 17" from your stock 16" wheel.  Brakes are a bit better from what I understand. (Boy, I know I'm gonna get some flack about that comment)

It will also allow you to upgrade the brakes to the blue spots.  They will let you stop the FJ with just 2 fingers vs the handfull you have to use now.  You will also need a 14mm master brake cylinder for that mod.  All pretty cheap on ebay.

The rear, you should find a 17" GSXR rear wheel or equivalent.  If you go that route, there is plenty of info in the file sections. Or just ask......I know that everyone here will jump in and help.

Sorry, forgot to mention, mine is an 86 and it's all stock from what I can tell.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to get the whole front.
