The Weather's Beautiful, Wish I Was There

Man, I hate missing rallies.  My February work schedule changed in January, screwing up my plans to fly to Australia to go riding with Garth and Klavdy and the Australian contingent.  "That's okay," I thought, "Boone is soon." 

Then, my work schedule for this week changed a few weeks ago.  Instead of going to central Indiana (close enough to ride to Boone) I got sent back to the Mojave desert instead.

(I realize that missing a rally because "I have to work" is a far cry from missing a rally because "I'm out of work / can't afford to go / had to sell the bike" or because "I, or someone in the family, has serious health problems."  As far as problems go, this one is right up there with "the maid is drinking the good scotch.")

Say, if I had a west coast bike, I could almost make Petaluma NEXT weekend....

This makes Pennsylvania that much more tempting.
