Both the frame and engine came with a VIN.

I have looked all over the bike ALL OVER including the frame and under the frame and everywhere people on the forum said it should be and i could not find 17 didgit numbers everything was less than 10.


One thing i wanted to ask. on the side of the front front fairing the FJs all say either lateral frame concept(mine does), perimatal frame concept or nothing at all. Now I always thought the lateral frame concept belonged to the 1100 but I saw it imprinted on ta 1200 on one of the forums bikers (was searching the gallery) is this writing anything to go by on the model of the bike? anybody able to shed some light?
