That video was very interesting.
If it were not for the cars on the road, it would have been hard to say which side of the road you guys drive on, because that rider was all over the place, and meeting A LOT of hazards!
Makes my riding look very controlled, in comparison.

Wow. Just wow, and not in a good way.
I was holding my breath waiting for the pile-up.

Agreed.

Live hardy, or go home.

I totally agree with you guys.

He was driving when it wasn't busy
I've seen idiots do this kinds of driving with 20 times more bicycles and pedestrians on the dike.
Some parts have a speedlimit of 38 mph but most parts it's 50mph
I personally would never bicycle or walk there.

I can't say that I drive a lot slower. We however tend to "do"the dike at 8 in the morning.
No bikers or pedestrians.
It's a family tradition. My father used to race on this dike.

Cars aren't a problem. It's the repairwork the do in the corners.
The fill up the corners with gravels, where the cars clip the edge.
The first car after the repairwork that clips the corner, throws the gravel onto the road....in the corner.
We usually scope the dike going one way and then "do" the dike at a "moderate" speed, going back.

Hey Burns how much work did you have to put in for the plastics? I have been looking for a good full fairing that will still allow air flow and that wont take much work to fit on the bike but have been unlucky so far
Life behind bars - is actually quite thrilling
