Today I rode to Vienna, Austria and went shopping for bike parts and accessories at a real bike shop for a change. I visited a Hein-Gericke store. NICE stuff there! I found some black mirrors there that looked just like what I needed for the FJ. They fit very well and are fully adjustable up and down, and they also extend longer (note the bolt on the arm). The mount bolts were about 1/2 inch too long, but I cut them down. They are the exact size of the nutplates in the fairing. I love them - real glass, too. Sure beats the plastic, JB welded disaster I've had installed.

Price? 34 Euros / $48 each.

Nice find, they look to follow the lines of the fairing where the signals mount and generally complement the appearance of the bike!

they look pretty damn good , how is the viability for seeing behind you and vibration resistance at speed?

Lotsokids,
Those look great! I currently have the CBR 600 mirrors, have the usual problems with them. Had to drill a hole in the bottom of the housing to tighten up the nut on the inside.  They are just a temporary solution till I can find a better set. If the don't import those Hein Gericke mirrors to the states, shipping might be a deal killer.

I haven't driven it yet since the install. Everything about them is perfect, just looking at them.

They had 1 or 2 more sets, but there are 2 other Hein-Gericke stores I didn't visit. They might have some also. I'll be headed back to the U.S. in August. I could mail them from there if you wish, no problem. The next time I'll be in Vienna is Tuesday, July 12, so let me know before then. We can do PayPal or something.

Took it for a ride today. I have some vibration in the left mirror and the right mirror ball joint seems to be loose. When I rev it, it moves up so I have a wonderful view of the sky. :negative:
