well im sorry that the garage is dark and i don't have a better camera, but its all i got.
The camera is fine it's just too dark. Get some light down there and retake the picture. Got a table light? Take the shade off...

Remind us in your own words on what you are trying to do....

Something about a 91 frame.... You are not trying to put '91 lower frame rails on a 87 frame are you? Naaa..
If you are using a complete '91 frame, including motor brackets, then everything should bolt right up.
Don't attempt to mix and match, it won't work.

irishluck

yes i am posting pics from a phone

2nd yes the coild actually do swap over to the 91 frame, already on it

3rd yes i have a 91 frame and 91 frame rails. BUT you said something about motor brackets

I litterly just have the frame and the frame rails, thats what im confussing about. is there something else i need to bolt the frame rails onto the engine?

on the 87 the frame rails have spots to just bolt into the engine itself

Klavdy

You are replying to posts and posting photos from a phone to a website, is this correct?
Do you have a computer?

lol yes i have a computer, im a website designer i have 10 computers.

Im taking pics with my phone but uploading to computer. my camera screen busted, havent had chance to replace. I got 2 better pics im posting now, hopefully there better

irishluck

what im trying to do is use the engine from my 87 to put in a 91 frame

The frame and frame rails are a 91. Everything else is 87 and already have it together
Just trying to put the engine in now

As far as i know from what everyone has told me on here, any fj1200 engine will fit into any fj1200 frame as long as long as you have the right frame rails.

Now as you can tell in the pics, it seems to me the frame rails are to far pointed inwards and on top of that it dont line up right, am i missing some type of bracket of some sort or what?

Every little & big bracket on the lower frame rails is what you need to put your humpty dumpty back together again. Good luck on the scavenger hunt.

I still think you would be better off getting a 86/7 frame with a clean title, there are enough floating around.

O.K, you are a web designer.
With ten computers.

Do you know how to post from one of them?

As you can see, there are many people on this list who can help you.
Whether they will or not all depends on you.

Please show them some courtesy by turning on one of the computers that you design websites with, use the spell checker to write clear and concise posts and post them from the computer, not your phone.
Do people actually pay you for designing their websites or is it a hobby you do after finishing work at the motorcycle store?
Reason for asking is that your posts are usually gibberish, the photos you put up look like you took them while on  crack and not many people want to help someone who is shit at even trying to help themselves.

Compare your crack addict photo,

With one of the helpful fellows photos,

Surely you can see the difference, taken with a phone camera or not doesn't matter, most phones are more than capable of taking a clear and crisp 640X480 photo.
Unless you don't know how to take and embed photos, there is no excuse for being so sucky at posting requests.

As a bit of advice, start posting like an adult or be treated as a child.

That was very polite of you Klavdy. Are you feeling well?

irishluck

like I said, I don't have a camera right now, I busted my screen on it, all I have right now is a phone(and its a pretty shitty phone until next week), sorry. and I was using one of my computers to put the pics on.

and yes I'm 20 years old and a professional website designer, I've built over 100's of sites.

i did see that bracket on the diagram but I wasn't for sure exactly where it went, maybe i should of looked closer? idk.

Leon: thank you, that's exactly what I needed. One more question though. I noticed there are 2 bolts there or two places for bolts. The top one I can see now is used for the bracket what about the bottom one. What's the purpose of it?

irishluck

Also, i noticed #39 on the diagram is what is in the picture to hold the engine. but what is #8 for?

It's almost dead square in the center of Leon's pic that he posted for you...
