I bought a GS1100L new back in the 80s and still have it.
Nice ride, but lacks the FJs kookaloo! LOL!

I bought a GS1100L new back in the 80s and still have it.
Nice ride, but lacks the FJs kookaloo! LOL!

I bought it about 4 years ago. It had 26000km on it. Had alot of trouble with the electrics on it, stator went the po put the wrong bulb in the headlight and it fried the fuse box and the h/d lite wiring. Got so pissed at it I sold it (dumbdumb) It was 1981 gs1100e black with red striping

i was of the understanding that the gs(x) range had a problem with rec reg's frying themselves.... just replaced the rec reg and starter solenoid on my 85 gsx 750 e.
