HUGE carb problem

JB Weld does not hold forever.  It will soften and fail.

Found this out on a '86 I once had.  A PO had broken the post and used JB weld.

As a previous poster suggested you can get it welded back on, which is the route I took.  It takes a steady hand and a very pure aluminum rod to tack the post back on.
