Ic ignitor

Hi ev'bod , iv had some help with parts off yourselves before , im in the middle of a project on my 03 xjr , iv fitted fj inlet rubbers and cams and im trying to wire an fj ic ignitor but have came accross a problem , the xjr only has one pick up where the fj ignitor seems to pick up off two so i could only get it running on two cylinders , is there a year of fj that picks up off only one or does anybody got one of them brilliant ideas that can put me to shame ?

84-87 Have two pick ups
89-93 have one pick ups
XJR have one pick up but are different from FJ.
Two different cdi boxes for the FJ and unknown for they XJR. (plus dyna 2000 for all)
If you are using the stock XJR pick up an rotor it won't work well if at all.
They will interchange if you use all of one system.
