hello : My name is Norb and I live in Illinois. I have two 1986 motorcycles a yamaha fj 1200 and a kawasaki zl900. I remember both of these cycles from 25 years ago they were hot! The fj and the zl have a very loyal following each having their own website. It is fun to look online to see what other riders have done with their bikes. It is also a great source for information on parts and service. I'm glad I signed up.

Welcome Norb,

We have a few group members up around your way.

imagination is the only limiting factor in the modification process..... are your 86's stock ?

The 86 zl900 I went with the next size up Shinko tires and might bob the rear end. Otherwise the bike is stock. The  86 fj1200 has a full Targa air scoop and a Yoshimura exhaust. The rest is stock except for a few more logo stickers. They look good with a wash and fresh wax!
