Klavdy/Rittner/Flynt special is on the road and rockin!  Here are some pics from the journey:

Rides wonderfully and runs great.  The '90 is for sale as soon as I get it on Craigslist.

I'm a bit inept at this pic thing...  I put them in Flikr and they look fine there, but the link that gets pasted in is low res and sized accordingly.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

She turned out real nicely.  Really, you want to sell the 90?  Not the 92???? :unknown:
Jee, I think there may be members here that had an eye on her.  Just maybe   :scratch_one-s_head:

Your bike looks awesome!  I have one the same model I just got a couple weeks ago.  I have a lot of work to do to mine, clean the whole fuel system and try to get all the rust out of the tank.  Once I get that done and crank it up then I can move on to all the other things that need attention.  Great job on yours!

Looking good!

I see you also have a 240Z is it a '71 ?

i have a 72 just about the same color  :good2:

The z is a '72.  Kind of a show car, but it has plenty of go and is track ready (brakes, coil-overs, camber plates, LSD, etc...).  Paint is a Camaro color from the late '90s called "Hugger Orange", looks really similar to the cars stock "red" paint.  Also has fully custom interior, chassis bracing, seams filled, rain gutters trimmed, etc...  Sits alot right now with the FJs taking up my time.

I am delighted with the "Seppo" restoration.  The '92 is sublime with Ritt's suspension setup.  I've just done RPM Randy's ignition advance and balanced/adjusted mix on the carbs.  The Akra exhaust and Ritt's needles really makes this bike fast on the top end (and I needed the subframe since Klavdy's was bent).  Randy's ignition tweak lifts a layer of fog off the whole experience...  power right there, right now.  Almost feels touchy on the throttle, but just right for me.

Need more riding time now...

I'm familiar with that Hugger orange... a friend has a '73 Z28  big block that color (with black racing stripes).. it's definitely striking  :good2:

i know that bike is strong ... I've ridden it when it still belonged to Marc....Flew out there to visit my sister in Santa Barbara and he loaned me the bike for a few days........  I still remember returning the bike and he saying something about how he had never seen a rear tire cupped before lol  :good2:.... some really good riding around there... i was especially fond of 150 there near Ojai. We have a 150 here in NC that is very similar.

I'm glad the bike is going to live on..... Enjoy the ride brother!

Frank, that's not Ritt's bike. That's Klavdy's bike with Ritt's suspension. Marc still has his '93.AFAIK   Pat

Marc's bike was fully parted when I picked up faring, gas tank, rear subframe, Akrapovic exhaust, carb needles, stock seat, etc...  the Frankenstein is in fact Ritt's stuff on Klavdy's chassis.  I think it is back to Ritt's spec pretty much, with some fine tuning to fit my style.

Not exactly the same bike...  this one is actually Klavdy's you recall.  I did the Uni's, up sized idle jets, and tuned the idle circuit to give smooth, strong, and right now in all conditions.  I bet Marc's was similar, but it is a different bike.

LOL....it looks like the same bike but yes now i remember Marc parting his bike out.

sorry for any confusion.

my 240Z is now guards red... first car i ever bought in 1979  w/310K original miles.... the chassis is basically stock (restored) with upgraded brakes and a "slightly" modified engine..... dont ever drive it but i still love it just the same .. some good times in that car   :good2:
