Hi guys, big r from the great white north here. Was just wondering if anyone has converted their petcock to a pingle and how good they are? :hi:

I haven't used one, but I do remember the topic coming up a couple times before.

I don't know if there is any helpful info for you but you can look here.

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I used one on a GSX-R 750 a couple years ago. I liked the concept, but it was a real pain - the bottom of the valve hit the engine's oil line when I reinstalled the gas tank. I had to shim up the tank at the rear, then it looked a little goofy. Once installed, I could not move the shutoff lever.

I'm not sure how it fits on our FJ's :unknown:

Yeah,
Run a GUZZLER on my dragbike.
Needs to be manually turned on and off, Not a problem at the dragstrip, would be a real pain for the street though.

Run a 90 degree 3/8's barb off the pingel adapter plate down to one of their new(er) vacuum operated fuel valves. It sends plenty of fuel to the carbs and shuts off when you kill vacuum. It feeds enough to supply FCR 39's no problem.

I installed one last year for higher flow since my engine is anything but stock

If it's not broken, fix it anyways
