Well I've been around here for awhile now, good bunch of people. Thought i'd let you know a bit about myself. Been a biker all my life, that makes 58 years now. Was virtually born on the back of dads bike. He and mom went for a ride and dont you know her water broke. Dad mad it to the hospital only to have me born on the steps. Raced yamaha's early on in life (roadracing), even got to race daytona in 1970 in ameture class 250. Have built twin engine triumph drag bikes in high school, even put electrics on one so i could ride on the steet of Kent, ohio. Worked as a mechanic untill birth of my first girl and then moved on to truck driving to pay the bills. Well thrty some years later came off the road and now just drive local and work on bikes and play music. enough of my ranting. Nice to be amongnst a great group.

Welcome Mr Breeze.

Great story you have there  :good2:  Sounds like you have a few things in common with several members here.
Which means you will fit right in...............what do you have for a bike? or bikes?

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Thanks to Skynryd, I do. I discovered JJ Cale through Skynyrd back in the mid 80's while trying out figure out how to play  'got the same old blues' on the guitar. (Probably about 10 years after you did??  ) Had the 'raccoon' album on cassette.  JJ Cale is great,  have the Okie album on my i-Pod right now. Timeless stuff!  Like the FJ, it never gets old.
