I do not know where the 3 wires go to (white, gray, black) the dog chewed the connections on my engine.  :diablo: labradors and fjs do not mix  :ireful:

I marked the cdi 1234 so you guys can help me better.
I'm also not getting any spark from the coils. All 4 spark plugs are new. The battery works fine. The starter motor spins fast. Ive also checked my wiring connections. i also soldered other wiring connections.(including the oil and neutral sensors which the F*CKING dog chewed :ireful:) The oil and neutral sensors work fine now.
any help would be appreciated

hi the wiring diagram for us and uk model shows you should have a black orange and grey.
i checked on my 84 uk model and have the same colours.
on the picture of the ingnitor unit you have shown the orange is no1 black no2 grey no3- no4 blank,
these all go to the pick up coil.

hope this helps

C'mon guys, take a look at your FJ's it won't take long.. need some help here

VMS

I can't help too much with colors, as I make my own wiring harnesses for the Legends cars, but the grey wire on the pick-up goes to your #1, and the black goes to your #2. If you have eliminated the vacuum advance, those are the only 2 wires, 3 & 4 are blank. If you still have the vacuum advance:

1  2
  3
(1 & 2 being the 2 parallel connections)

You would have a wire from your #3 to vacuum #2, and a wire from your #4 to vacuum #1.

Hope that helps a little
