YES¡¡¡¡¡ FROM ARGENTINE¡¡¡¡¡¡ Buenos Aires¡¡¡¡

Firs't of all please EXCUSE MY ENGLISH my language it's spanish not english¡¡ jejej.

Sow. Im the HAPPY owner of a FJ1200 ABS 1992.

The story of this bike it's quite big, sow i will make it short.

Born in japan sold in EEUU, this bike ends on argentine couse one of those relative that you don't know to much but's calls you when has something you like.

When my father bought this bike i was quite young and understand NOTHING about this.

Douring years my dad make some miles (now has 30.000) and make CERO 0 Maintenance. And aprox 5 years of being sttoped make disasters with her fuel pump, exhaust and carbs.

On top of that my dad, take off all the plastics couse he had a fall and broke some of them. And sow.

Even sow, my dad used the bike somethimes, and with no care, reving it up to 9000 rpm with a 5 years oil.

Now adays, he had some doubt with me and used this bike as a way of paying it.

Id invested some money on her and have a LOT of things to do, but at least the bike is running, and with fresh oil  ;D

Here i give some photos of the reconstruction.

Hope you like it¡¡¡

What can i said? With NO tires, and a lot's of thing to do in the brakes and front suspention. The bike is incredible¡¡¡¡¡

I just can't explain what it feel riding it. Im in love what else can i said¡¡¡.

It's realy expensive having this bike here, couse there are NO parts and everithing is in dolars, and here a dolars cost 4 pesos, sow everything cost me 4 time more, with the plus of the taxes and shipping.

But every penny invested it's a pleasure.

On this 5 of april il going 100km out in a trip with a motorbike forum from here. I know i don't have tires, but the speed is going to be of 80 km/h (40 miles aprox) sow im not scared. I thin the tires are comming in a week or two. JUST WAITING¡¡¡¡¡¡

Nice to meet you Leandro!  (I prefer the Spanish name)  What are you thinking of getting for the exhaust?  Are you thinking of having something custom made for you?  (you would have to I would think...)  Let us know what you decide to have done with the exhaust...we like pics!

Hello Leandro, Nice Pictures of your FJ!  I was worried when reading your message.  Your bike looks very nice now.  Have fun, enjoy the 'kookalooo'.*

*Frank, you need to translate 'kookalooo' to español for Leandro!

Welcome Leandro!

Your restoration looks great.  Way to bring it back from the brink of death and neglect.

You're English is better than some on this list who speak it as their native language (kidding -sort of).
