Just a very short question about the GSXR wheel mod, I am sure that somewhere I read not to use the Suzuki axle. Would this be right and why?
Thanks,

I would think the axle would be to short since you have to use washers to make up the differece on the FJ swingarm.

In one of the 12 gsxr threads  (popcorn)

Arnie said the FJ axle is shorter, so if you want to use the Suzuki axle you may need a few extra washers on the outside.

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Arnie

The SUZUKI axle is shorter than the FJ axle.  The distance between the FJ's swingarm legs is greater than on the Suzuki, so you need to use spacers and the extra length of the FJ axle.

If I said anything other than above, I must have been having a dyslectic moment.

Cheers,

Sorry Arnie, I must of misunderstood. I should have it all straight for the next GSXR wheel swap thread.
